日本で第一線の鑑識をされていた。三島由紀夫事件、浅間山荘、ロス疑惑、宮崎勤、トリカブト事件、群馬御巣鷹山・日航機墜落、オウム真理教事件を担当。
タイ警察科学調査局。スマトラ沖地震で遺体の鑑識（指紋採取）に尽力された貴重な写真とお話を伺った。
